Assignment Title: In-Service: “Theraputic Diet: A Low-Purine Diet Associated with Gout”

What I learned: For this assignment, I learned how to put a power point presentation together, that would be appropriate to teach the public about a diet/health related issue. I learned how do research the topic and be able to pull important information out to teach people about. I learned how to give a professional presentation in front of my peers. 

Reflection to the Assignment: This assignment allowed me to explore power point, and be creative. It helped me to be confident when speaking to a crowd, whether it is my peers, or strangers. This assignment also helped me to gain experience in research on health related topics, and to understand that research.

Relevance to the Profession:  The two most important things about this assignment, with relevance to the profession , are being able to do research, and the ability to present an in-service. These both can help my peers as well as myself keep up with the current research in the field of nutrition.
